Position: Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will be an integral member of the senior management team and oversee a team of 10+ finance professionals. Short-term objectives include executing on the current business initiatives, ensuring the right finance structure is in place, implementing a new ERP system and improving financial reporting.
Industry experience with a discrete manufacturer and assembler of small parts, e.g. motors, pumps, etc.
Well rounded foundation in finance with time spent in a plant environment as well as having strong FP&A skills.
Other capabilities include: Experience leading the annual operating plan as well as short and long-term financial forecasts. Able to provide financial and business decision leadership on risks/opportunities. A history of reducing overhead, consolidating financial operations, integrating systems, improving procurement efforts, billing and receiving, etc. Experience in working capital management, credit financing, collateral and collateral reporting in addition to cash forecasting/management.
Strong organizational development skills with a history of successfully hiring, training and mentoring personnel.
Able to successfully and proactively manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors and regulators. The individual must be an enthusiastic communicator of the company’s vision, and develop solid relationships with the company’s lenders.
Willing to travel a minimal amount to attend key industry events, meet with strategic customers and/or evaluate acquisition targets.
MUST HAVE: A minimum of an undergraduate degree plus a CPA.
